Matt Thomas earned his Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness, as well as Master of Business Administration from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. He began his banking career in 2004 with the first 10 years at a commercial community bank working in credit, lending and management roles. He joined the Farm Credit System in 2014 with AgTexas Farm Credit Services as a loan officer and branch manager. At AgTexas, in addition to managing a loan portfolio, Matt serves on the Young, Beginning & Small (YBS) committee, Internship committee, AgYouth of the Month & Distinguished Alumni scholarship committee, Mentorship program, and Engagement Council. Matt’s strengths include developing relationships with both customers and colleagues, creating a positive experience through building trust and leading with integrity. Personally, Matt focuses his time with his family and church, helping coach his kids' sports teams and their FFA livestock projects.
