AgWest Farm Credit
Candy Casteal is the Specialized Lending President at AgWest Farm Credit, leading overseeing lending teams and programs with broad reach across the Association's seven-state territory. She has responsibility for AgVision (YBS), Capital Markets, Cooperative Lending, Country Home Lending, Equipment Finance, and Forest Products Lending. She also manages AgWest’s territorial concurrence strategy and key partnerships with AgDirect, Farm Credit Leasing, and ProPartners.
With 29 years at AgWest and its predecessor, Northwest Farm Credit, Candy brings deep expertise and institutional knowledge to her role.
In the area of Reputation Risk, Candy draws on nearly 15 years of experience leading the Capital Markets team. She has played a key role in executing the Association’s reputation risk strategy for its purchased loan portfolio and shaping its Similar Entity lending approach. She currently represents AgWest on the Farm Credit System’s Reputation Risk Analysis and Planning Workgroup, and was an active participant in the 2024 Similar Entity Workgroup, which developed the System’s response to the FCA’s Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRM) on Loans to Similar Entities.
