From there, our experienced jeep wranglers, true outdoor enthusiasts, will guide you through a breathtaking landscape of desert floor and majestic mountains. Along the way, they’ll share their deep knowledge of the region’s native flora and fauna.

As you traverse the rugged terrain, keep your eyes peeled for desert wildlife—deer, jackrabbits, javelina, and more may cross your path. You’ll also enjoy a short botanical nature walk, offering a deeper appreciation for the lush and vibrant ecosystem of the Sonoran Desert, considered the most biologically diverse desert in the world.

San Xavier Mission, Tubac Art Village & Tumacacori Mission Tour

Step back in time on this enriching 6-hour tour through Southern Arizona’s cultural and historical treasures.

Begin with a visit to the stunning San Xavier Mission, known as the “White Dove of the Desert.” This beautifully preserved 18th-century Spanish baroque church still serves the local Tohono O’odham community and offers a glimpse into centuries-old religious traditions and architecture.

Next, enjoy lunch at Wisdom’s Café before exploring Tubac, a vibrant artist colony with deep historical roots. Once a Spanish presidio, Tubac now features galleries, studios, and shops where art and history meet.

The journey continues along the Juan Bautista de Anza Trail to Tumacacori Mission, part of a national historical park preserving the ruins of early Spanish missions. Discover the mission’s gardens and learn about the lives of the Franciscan padres and native peoples who once lived there.

Note: This tour includes moderate walking. Comfortable shoes recommended.
