Kent Reid is the Chief Appraiser at Farm Credit Illinois, bringing over 30 years of experience in agricultural and rural property valuation. Since joining the cooperative in 2008 and stepping into his current leadership role in 2012, Kent has been instrumental in shaping appraisal strategy, incorporating technology, operational efficiencies while ensuring regulatory excellence across the organization.
A Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in both Illinois and Indiana, Kent holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Southern Illinois University. His professional development includes advanced leadership training through the Academy of Performance Excellence and the Executive Leadership Coaching Program.
Based in Lawrenceville and Mahomet, Illinois, Kent is passionate about supporting rural communities and advancing the appraisal profession through education, collaboration, and innovation.
