Biography

Jayme Johnson serves as Senior Vice President of Credit Approval at Capital Farm Credit, where she leads the Association’s Credit Approval, Portfolio Monitoring, and Capital Markets Credit Analyst teams. In this role, she is responsible for supporting sound credit decision-making, portfolio risk oversight, and effective credit risk management across the organization. Prior to assuming her current position, Johnson oversaw Capital Farm Credit’s Internal Audit and Credit Review functions, gaining extensive experience in governance, risk management, and organizational oversight within the Farm Credit System.

Before joining Capital Farm Credit, Johnson served as a Senior Internal Auditor and later as Director of Internal Audit at Northwest Farm Credit Services. As a Senior Internal Auditor, she conducted both internal audits and credit reviews. Upon becoming Director of Internal Audit, Johnson led the organization's Credit Review team and was responsible for overseeing credit review activities across the association. She also partnered closely with the internal audit leader to support the execution of internal audits and broader assurance initiatives. A Certified Public Accountant, Johnson brings additional private-sector experience from her time with a public accounting firm.

Johnson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho. She is committed to strengthening risk management practices, promoting strong internal controls, and supporting Capital Farm Credit’s mission of serving agriculture, rural communities, and its member-owners.
