Nathan Kromann is Vice President of Credit – Ag Lending at Compeer Financial, where he oversees credit strategy, underwriting, and portfolio management for a $15+ billion agricultural loan portfolio serving more than 30,000 clients. He is passionate about developing leaders, strengthening collaboration between credit and sales, and driving innovation that enhances the client experience. Nathan has developed and delivered training on financial analysis, benchmarking, and effectively communicating financial insights to clients.
Raised on a dairy farm in Washington before his family relocated to the Midwest to raise Hereford cattle and Suffolk sheep, Nathan developed a lifelong passion for agriculture. He earned a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Industries and Marketing with an emphasis in Animal Science from the University of Minnesota. Nathan and his high school sweetheart are raising their three boys on a small acreage in Minnesota, where they enjoy spending time outdoors together.
