Financial and Risk Oversight & the Role of the FCA

A director’s responsibility for financial and risk oversight is foundational to strong governance. This session provides an accessible introduction to interpreting financial statements, understanding key performance indicators, and recognizing red flags that warrant further inquiry.
Directors will also gain clarity on the role of the Farm Credit Administration (FCA) and how regulatory expectations align with their oversight duties. Through interactive discussion and a hands-on review of simplified sample reports, participants will build confidence in asking the right questions and ensuring they have the information needed to make sound boardroom decisions.
